Two flowers done today! I traded the blue-patterned fabric with a friend...I thought it would be great for my hexies!
Total flowers made as of today: 8
I've been busy preparing lots of hexagons. It's always nice to have some to take along in my purse, as I like to stitch while waiting for appointments, etc. It's amazing how much you can get done while waiting for other folks!! ;o)
Have a great evening!

I agree Mary Ann, the blue is perfect in your hexie flower. I find the flowers so 'quick and easy' to sew up in those odd moments that I always seem to be thinking about preparing them so I have some to sew!!
Very lovely Mary Ann! I adore the colors! so gorgeous! I could look at these all day long. XO
I love the colors! Great job!
Beautiful, Mary Ann =-) I love the blue...Ok, so now I am afraid to keep reading here cuz I DO NOT want to be tempted to start another "take along" project...DO NOT...=-/
They look so great! Hexagons are just so much fun to do!
I agree; you can get a LOT done while waiting for other people..... :)))
But that just so much fun!
Have you noticed people are really attracted to them and start to talk easily?! I love it when people get enthousiastic about quilting.....!!
Have fun and enjoy your day!
Hi Mary Ann, love your blooms this week and I am intrigued by the template , how do you use it , and is there anything in your pieces when you are stitching them?

Yes the blue is perfect, it belongs to your flowers. Two flowers today - that is good - congratulations. How big will it be, or haven't you decided yet.
Have a nice weekend
Lovely flowers!! That blue is beautiful!
The blue fabric makes a lovely flower and looks excellent with the red flower!
Hi Mary Ann! I love the addition of the blue fabric! Your flowers are beautiful. The picture of the poppy fields, wow!
Very pretty flowers I love the colours
The blue is perfect and your flowers are lovely. I think the hexies are the perfect take along project, I rarely sew mine at home, it's more often to be when I'm out somewhere.
I am also an expat living in Denmark who is working on a hexagon project. Your project is looking great. :)
